APC Councillor in Land Grabbing Scam

Councillor Ishmael Mansaray of Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC) is among politicians accused of grabbing land and selling them to the highest bidder.
Councillor Mansaray who represents the APC in council is now between the devil and the deep blue sea after selling a piece of land to two different persons.
This situation created by Councillor Mansaray in Waterloo is yet to be resolve with two different people now fighting over a piece of land, leaving both victims in a state of confusion.
He is also alleged to have attempted to sell another land own by a senior citizen within the same area.
Pa Alhaji Abu Bakarr Barrie who stays and live in Waterloo sometime back bought a piece of land from Councillor Ishmael.
According to information reaching Standard Times Newspaper, just after Pa Barrie had gone to start work on the land he was met by stiff resistant with another purported owner who said the land was sold to him by the councillor.
With this ugly development councillor Ishmael continue to dodge calls and also refusing to respond to messages.
It is now very clear that that the opposition politician who resides in Waterloo is among the many people who grab land within WARDC and sell them to different people.
His latest victim, Pa Barrie told Standard Times Newspaper that for the past two years he has been battling with councillor to either return his money or make available the land but to no avail.
He said Councillor Ishmael no long respond to his calls neither text message and he is very difficult to see.
‘I have reported this matter to authorities but since this man is a politician the case has not gone anywhere. This man took money from me for two town lots, a land somebody is now claiming to be his, Pa Barrie said.
Reaching on to Councillor Ishmael on the allegations levied he promise to resolve the matter, but has not done so since then.
Land grab is the new pattern by most politicians especially those in rural communities. The WARDC councillor is accused to have sold more land in that part of the country and at the same time defrauding innocent people from their hard earn money. Investigation into this land grab continues.
