A couple of months ago, the Director of Support, CSC Susan Baby Koker (Diamond Suzy Kay) of Sierra Leone Correctional Service, achieved a milestone by obtaining a Certificate for mentoring women in peace and security. This prestigious Certificate was awarded by the Kofi Annan Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC) in Accra, Ghana.

CSC Susan Baby Koker (Diamond Suzy Kay) has been recognized as one of the Fifty (50) Most Influential Sierra Leone Women for her substantial contributions to the nation's development. This prestigious accolade underscores her dedication and exceptional performance in the Sierra Leone Correctional Service (SLCS), where she has continually brought pride to the institution through her impactful work and representation on peacekeeping and development missions. Her efforts have brought smiles to many Sierra Leoneans, reflecting her commitment to service and excellence.

The ceremony was graced by notable figures, including Richie Obama, who served as one of the grand hosts. Madam Hawa Samai of the independent Peace and National Cohesion Commission was acknowledged as the most influential woman and praised for her tireless efforts to advance Sierra Leone's progress. In her keynote address, the Minister of Gender and Children Affairs, Dr. Isata Mahoi, emphasized the importance of praying for women enduring suffering and abuse.
