SLPP North America Young Generation Holds Successful Dinner for the Re-Election of President Julius Maada Bio

The Sierra Leone Delaware Valley Chapter have donated the sum of Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000), plus an extra Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) towards the campaign for the Re-Election of President Bio. The donation was made during a dinner organized by the SLPP Young Generation chapter in North America.

When His Excellency Julius Maada Bio passionately told all SLPP supporters that his Re-Election campaign would go on if members of the grand old party put their resources together to facilitate the entire campaign process, as he would not use a dime of the State resources for that, we listened and did our assignment well.

The Young Generation wing of the Sierra Leone People’s Party of North America (SLPPNA), under the esteemed leadership of the Regional Young Generation Council (YGC), HINDOLO BARNETT, had organized a classy and inclusive fundraising Dinner over the weekend (May 6th, 2023) in Vineland, New Jersey, with a youth-focused ceremony, highlighting the importance of young people in Leadership and President Bio’s commitment towards empowering young people in Sierra Leone.

The event further showcased the YGC’s unrivaled commitment and support of President Bio and his New Direction Government.

Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Dr. Moinina David Sengeh giving the Keynote address, highlighted three important areas in achieving effective service delivery, underscoring some key unique leadership styles of President Bio, which has made the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MBE) an amiable ministry that has made unprecedented progress in terms of quality and Education both nationally and internationally.

Members of the National Grand Coalition (NGC) were in full attendance to support the agenda of President Bio’s Re-Election campaign.

A Show of strength for the recently signed and sealed PROGRESSIVE ALLIANCE between the two parties – to guide Sierra Leone further to inclusive and sustainable national development.

At the end of the event, DELAWARE VALLEY (D.V.C) chapter presented to the dynamic chairman of the SLPPNA Region, Mr. Desmond Pessima, a boldly printed copy of a Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000) Cheque, plus an extra Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) towards the campaign for the Re-Election of His Excellency in the fast-approaching June 24th, 2023, general election.
