Homosexual Activist On The Run

Homosexual activist and practitioners, Mohamed Saeed Kamara, who live at Quarry in Freetown narrowly escaped death on 10th August 2024 when irate and aggrieved community people went to his residence after he was caught in in bed with his male partner Hassan. Report say he was caught by his own brother who alerted the family and by extension the community as to the kind of trade his brother was engaged in.
Homosexual practice is a taboo in Sierra Leone as the society frowns on such act.
Mohamed Saeed who is said to have escaped miraculously was nowhere to be found and the angry crowd resorted to search for him and vow to deal with him whenever and wherever he is found.
After several weeks of Mohamed Seed Kamara disappearance, family members became worried because since that day no one has heard from him or know his whereabouts.
Investigation by this medium reveals that Mohamed, is among strong activists of the gay community organization called ‘Gays for Life’ has been bluntly preaching gay rights ideology in the community, saying men should have the right to choose who should be their partners.
Both Christians and Muslim frowns on such practice as the practice has led to the loss of lives. However, the matter has been reported to the police for investigation.
This day will forever be etched in Mohamed’s mind. And that day was the day he realised that being a homosexual could get him killed. That day he was chased by his own people on the night of 10th August 2024.
Mohamed is one of the thousands of gay activists who is now running to find solace to place far away and is safe. Sierra Leone Laws discriminate against same sex or LGBT as the society have no place for such a practice. In The search for Mohamed Saeed Kamara continues as his action is not only a crime against the laws of Sierra Leone but societal and religious norms.
Mohamed could even ended up jail if he is lucky to escape death from angry youths within his community. This young man is now on the run after his escape and nobody knows his whereabouts since the incident.
