Police on The Hunt for Community Activist

Jonathan Conteh, a community activist is currently on the run after escaping police custody while admitted for medication. The young man according to report fell sick while in custody at the Pademba Road Maximum Prison been accused for murder.
Exactly, at 05: 00 on the early hours of April 26th 2016 hospital staff at the Kingtom Police hospital wake up to an empty bed where Jonathan was admitted and responding to treatment.
Staff at the hospital accordingly were in shock as the suspect was nowhere to be seen. hospital staff are still in disbelief as to how the accused person escape as he was confined to a separate room and guarded by two officers.
Both officers that were on duty are currently been interrogated for this incident. Details of the escape is still scanty as police have started investigation as to how Jonathan was able to escape under their watch.
Jonathan Conteh is accused of stabbing another young man after he was allegedly attack by a group of thugs belonging to the All Peoples Congress (APC) leading as the country prepares for the 2018 elections.
Report says the incident happens on March 8th 2016 during a community function that was organized by Jonathan for the Opposition Sierra Leone People party (SLPP) that did not go down well with youth belonging to the ruling APC.
Just after the program, thugs allegedly belonging to the APC went to Jonathan Conteh’s resident and attack him and his family. While escaping the thugs, fight broke among them leading to the stabbing of a young man by the name of Bockarie Kamara.
Bockarie Kamara was rushed to the hospital but later died from excessive bleeding. Police later arrested Jonathan in wellington community while trying to escape from the city, Freetown.
He was later charge with murder and detained at the Pademba Prison but feel ill while in custody. As a result of the seriousness of the illness, medical doctors advised that he should be admitted for proper medication.
Jonathan was admitted at the Police hospital in Kingtom where he escaped the police and has not been seen since then.
The police are now on the lookout for Jonathan Conteh as his whereabout is still unknown. How he escaped under the nose of the police is still unclear, not even the police could tell how he managed to escape. Sources from deceased family alleged Jonathan must have bribed his way out to enable him escape. Investigation into the escape continue.
